~~Rhizomatous species. Leaves ovate-lanceolate, toothed, pubescent, green with darker stripes. Flowers pendulous, funnel-shaped, white, in apical inflorescences. This species, like all in its genus, is deciduous in winter. It start sprouting in mid May and keeps its leaves till December. After losing the aerial part start watering sparsely to allow a resting period and place in a fresh place (but frost free). Water twice per month during its winter rest. Native to Oaxaca, Mexico.
