Rare species of Stapelieae with succulent, grey-green, purple-dotted stems with showy teeth. Little, star-shaped and very unusual flowers. Half shade in Summer. Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Sudan, Ethiopia, Djibouti and Somalia.
