~~Rhizomatous species. Leaves ovate, crenate, pubescent, reddish. Flowers pendulous, funnel-shaped, pink, in apical inflorescences. Late autumn flowering. This species, like all in its genus, is deciduous in winter. It start sprouting in mid May and keeps its leaves till December. After losing the aerial part start watering sparsely to allow a resting period and place in a fresh place (but frost free). Water twice per month during its winter rest. Native to Oaxaca, Mexico.
