Horticoltural hybrids of Aquilegia vulgaris . Herbaceous perennial deciduous in winter, up to 1,2 m tall. Slightly branching stems with tripartite leaves whose leaflets have 3 rounded lobes. Flowers in apical inflorescences, simple or semi-double, pendulous, ranging in color from white to pink to blue. Hardyi, it prefers semi-shaded positions and can adapts to most soils (except sandy and constantly humid soils).
