Shipping policy

The minimum order is €25.00 plus packaging and shipping costs.
Each package can usually contain up to 5 “heavy” items (e.g., plants in pots larger than 12 cm).

If needed, your order will be split into multiple parcels.

Shipping costs per parcel within Italy:

  • €13.00 for standard orders
  • €9.00 for cuttings, bare-rooted succulents or unpotted bulbs only
  • 2 € must be added to shipping costs for Sicily, Sardinia and Calabria

If your order or shipping destination requires different handling, we will calculate the correct cost and notify you via email.

We do not ship outside the European Union.

In some seasons or under certain environmental conditions, we cannot handle, divide, or ship specific plants (e.g., taking Stapelia cuttings during cold/humid winter days, dividing bulbs while in active growth, or shipping tender species during freezing temperatures).

Our packaging

Packaging quality is one of our strengths — and we have years of experience behind it.

We use reinforced double-wall corrugated cardboard boxes for superior resistance to impact and compression.

Every parcel is filled completely: empty spaces are packed with pressed paper or other materials to prevent movement, impacts, or crushing during transport.

Each pot is sealed at the surface around the stem to keep the soil firmly in place.
We also place a protective spacer beneath the pots to prevent direct contact with the box walls and absorb shocks.

Bare-rooted plants, cuttings, bulbs, etc. are packed individually in breathable paper bags labeled with their botanical name.
Aquatic plants are wrapped in moist paper and sealed in waterproof bags that maintain humidity without wetting the rest of the parcel.

Experiments show that soil inside sealed boxes dries very slowly - especially our mix enriched with volcanic lapilli, which retains and releases moisture gradually. Plants can safely remain packaged for up to 15 days, although delivery times are far shorter (1–3 days in Italy and 3–10 days within the EU).
