Horticultural hybrid. Ribbon-shaped leaves up to 40 cm long and 4-5 cm wide. Robust floral scape bearing 2-4 funnel-shaped flowers of various shades of red with or without central white streaks. Very floriferous, it blooms between April and May. It requires well-drained soil and a shaded position. Regular watering in summer but suspended in winter. Not hardy. 1 bulb with a diameter of 4-5 cm.
