Begonia bowerae var. major

Species with creeping rhizomes and erect stems. Sub-roundish, pointed leaves, green with dark spots and sparse hairs on the edges, carried by long arched petioles. Light pink flowers in long inflorescences between late winter and early spring. Native species of the Mexican, central and south american forests. Requires well-drained soil and a shaded position. Allow the soil to dry between waterings and reduce watering during the winter. Not rustic.
