Gasteria baylissiana

Clumping succulent species up to 4 cm tall.

Very fleshy leaves, up to 10 cm long, arranged in a fan, green covered with dense white papillae that give it a very elegant appearance.

Native species of the Cape Province (Eastern Cape) where it grows on sheer rock faces of quartzite sandstone usually in the shade of subtropical thickets.

Well drained soil and semi-shaded position; watering every 7-15 days in summer, once a month or never in winter.

Half-hardy.

Lightly branched bare root plant.
