Sansevieria suffruticosa (Dracena suffruticosa)

Semi-shrub rhizomatous succulent species. Aerial creeping rhizomes. Erect stems, 30-50 cm tall with leaves arranged in a spiral around them. Leaves 7-18 per rosette, up to 60 cm long and 2 cm in diameter, cylindrical, intense green in color with light green bands with an apical spine. Inflorescence up to 45 cm long bearing numerous white flowers arranged in whorls of 2-5. Native species of the highlands of Kenya where it grows in large populations. It requires well-drained soil and a shaded position. Water every 10-20 days in summer but leave dry in winter. Not hardy. Bare root plant.
