Epiphytic hanging cactus. Thin, branched, semi-hanging stems, slightly hairy at the apex and quadrangular in section when young, then circular. Small, white flowers with yellow external sepals, located at the end of the stems, between late winter and spring. Small white ovoid berries follow. Native species of southern Brazil where it grows as an epiphyte on trees. Requires a shaded position and well-drained soil. Water once or twice a week in summer but only once or twice a month in winter. Not hardy. Cutting, bare-root plant or potted plant.
