Hippeastrum blossfeldiae

Deciduous species native to Brazil. Linear lanceolate leaves up to 40 cm long. Sturdy floral stem 40-50 cm tall bearing at the apex 2-4 very showy flowers with a diameter of 10-15 cm, salmon pink in color with yellow base. In nature it grows in the São Paulo region of Brazil on the beaches, directly on the sand dunes. It therefore needs a sandy and deep soil and an exposure in full sun or partial shade. Regular watering in summer, dry in winter. 1 bulb with a diameter of 3-4 cm.
