Duvalia x hybrida VC15 'Lucida'

Duvalia sulcata hybrid obtained in our nursery.

This is a very distinctive hybrid that produces almost spherical or semi-cylindrical stems with barely visible tubercles. The flowers, 2-3 cm in diameter, they are dark red in colour and covered with papillae with lobes that tend to be reflexed. It blooms in summer and autumn.

It requires well-drained soil and a semi-shaded or filtered light location. Water approximately once every 7-20 days from March to October, but leave dry in winter.

Not hardy.

Bare-rooted, slightly branched plant.
