Semi-creeping succulent species. Branched stems, with a quadrangular section, with triangular, reddish tubercles. Apical inflorescences with a diameter of 6-10 cm, spherical, formed by 20-60 bell-shaped yellow flowers finely streaked with dark purple. Triangular lobes, slightly revolute, hairy inside. Native species of southern India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Myanmar where it grows in semi-arid zones, usually under shrubs. Well drained soil and semi-shaded position. Water every 10-15 days in summer, never in winter. Not hardy. Bare root plant with 1 single stem.
