A stoloniferous succulent species.

Longly toothed stems with purple spots and sturdy underground stolons. Star-shaped flowers in late autumn with very narrow, long lobes, about 2.5 cm in diameter, and a deep red color.

Native to a small area between Eritrea (Asmara) and Sudan (Erkowit), between 900 and 200 m above sea level.

Requires very well-drained soil and a location in partial shade. Water once every 7-20 days during the growing season (approximately March to October), but never in winter.

Not hardy.

Bare-rooted plant with a single or slightly branched stem.
