Native species of Morocco characterized by long gray-cerulean stems even 1 m long. Star-shaped flowers 1.5-2 cm in diameter, yellow with red spots and red lobes. The flowers, gathered in groups, develop near the apex of the stems in summer-autumn. In nature it grows in the rocks crevices of vertical limestone cliffs in dry forests on the edge of the Sahara desert, so it tends to be pendent.
