Native to Kenya and Somalia.
Stems creeping or slightly erect, reddish, slightly tuberculate. Bell-shaped flowers with inward-turning lobes, pendulous, red with white lobe tips.
In nature it grows in rocky areas up to 1800 m asl.
Well-drained soil and partial shade. Water every 7-20 days during the growing season (March-October). Keep dry in winter.
Not hardy.
