A clumping succulent species.

Slender, slightly tuberculated stems up to 10 cm long, are ashy green in color. Slightly bell-shaped flowers bloom near the base of the stems, five-lobed, pale yellow, almost white, and characterized by dark burgundy stripes. Rare in cultivation.

A species native to the Jabal Raymah mountains in western Yemen. It grows naturally in arid or semi-arid mountain environments, at altitudes of about 1,130 meters, generally under shrubs or other plants.

It requires very well-drained soil and a location in partial shade or filtered light. Water during the growing season (approximately April to October) once every 7-20 days, allowing the soil to dry out between waterings. Keep well-drained in winter.

Not hardy, but hardy up to 5 degrees Celsius.

Bare-root plant with one or more stems.
