A clumping succulent species.

It is an erect or ascending succulent, heavily branched and compact. It forms dense tufts up to 20 cm tall, with underground stolons. The stems are gray-green, 3-8 cm long, 1.5-2 cm thick, with four very blunt ribs. Subapical inflorescences consist of 5 to 20 flowers. The slightly bell-shaped flowers, 2 cm in diameter each, are olive-green and finely dotted with reddish-purple, more densely packed at the center.

This clone originates from Yemen and grows in rocky habitats, usually in shallow soil, in rock crevices, or on rocky outcrops.

It requires very well-drained soil and a location in partial shade. Water once every 7-20 days during the growing season (approximately March to October), but never in winter.

Not hardy.

Bare-root plant with a single or slightly branched stem.
