Creeping succulent species.

Creeping and branched stems, slightly tuberculated, partially underground. Apical flowers, 15 mm in diameter, singly or in clusters of two, cup-shaped with five dark red lobes, ciliate on the margin. Flowering occurs in summer but can continue through much of the autumn.

Species known from a single site in Somalia at about 1,400 m above sea level.

Requires well-drained soil and a location in partial shade. Water every 7-20 days from March to October. Leave dry in winter.

Not hardy.

Rooted cutting with a single or slightly branched stem.
